I am assuming that there is someone out there who has alot of time on their hands, fears God, and is Computer literate, and knows HTML. I am going to attempt to create a web site for a Christian Ministry which is dedicated to helping ex-offenders to get re-established "correctly" and reintigrated into society, after they are released from Prison. I promise it is a WORTHY cause. I need a dedicated volunteer to help.

What do you mean by "EX-offenders"? Guess I would be too judgemental.....counts me out.

You can be judgemental if you want. Just hope that one of the ones who weren't helped to become law abiding citizens when they were released don't show up in a dark alley some night.

The ministry I refer to is all about changing lives to prevent such things. I should know. My own life has been radically changed because God used this Ministry.

    SPAM....LOL

You can't prevent something like that...it is the person with the will to change that makes the difference.

It seems that you freaks could find something better to do than to criticize. This is Not "S..self P..promotional A..advertising M..message", or SPAM. It is a sincere request for help, and is appropriate to this message board. If you people want to keep busy, I suggest you join FLOGO Fun Club....it's for children, you know....

    IBWebin,

You might have better luck on a webmaster forum. Here's one link:

    http://www.webmaster-talk.com/

There are probably more; you could try a google search for webmaster forum. There are some web designers who will donate time and work. I'm not sure how to tell you to find them.
Try searching google for "free web designers" or something like that. I have seen some web designers sites that have said they will donate time/skills, but I can't remember any specifics.

Other idea - you could learn HTML - or easier yet - an easy to use WYSIWTG program. Check out CoolPage.com you can download a trial version and it's very easy to learn.

If you are going to use a free web host like Geocities or Tripod, they have tools that you can use to build a site. Also there are some webhosts that will build a site for a nominal charge if you are going to have your own domain name and paid hosting.

    Good luck.

Thank you, Suzi!! And God bless you. I will look into what you suggested. I once had a good grip on HTML, but that was years ago. And then I was using WebTV, which is much different, and I built a beautiful site on Angelfire. But the project I am about to attempt is a purchased Domain and I work 60 hours per week, so you can understand the time problem. But I will figure all this out, and I will be praying for all of you wonderful people there at HELPONTHE.NET.
