I have an issue with WMP in which a media file will not play stating it needs:

    DataFusion Systems GSM610 (86) codec

1st issue is I cannot find this codec anywhere to download

A colleague is able to play the file suggesting it is installed on that PC

    So,

Where are codecs stored on the C:\ -
    I don't mean >contorl panel > audio> hardware> properties> etc
That only shows me what is installed, I want to see the actual folder to be able to copy and paste it

    If that isn't possible,
Can a codec be extracted and then copy/pasted to another PC or different location

If either of those don't work
Would a copy of the registry of the working PC do it?
