I have a friend going to a tradeshow and usually he puts out cards that people fill out with thier personal info so that they can be added to a mailing list used to send out offers & specials from the Golf Course/Resort where he works. So normally he has to take several hundred cards and type the info from each person manually into a group he creates in his outlook express address book.

Could anyone recommend a easy to use program we could use on a laptop so that people could type thier info into a short form on the laptop, hit enter, and have thier info stored on the laptop?

thanks,
-George

I have Access but never use it. So would that be fairly simple to do with just reading the help files or search for some tutorials?

Should be able to do it with just the help file. You will have to create the table with the fields you want to capture. Then create a form based on the table. I would then add a switchboard interface that help those who don't know access get to a new record. Add a submit button to the form and have it return to the switchboard on click. If you can PM me the details of what you need for data, and details of what you want to be able to do - I will give you a good headstart if you are not in a rush for it (it may be next weekend before I can get to it). Also, what version of access do you have?
