color problem

    done something to pc andcolored sections of screen have x's all over making it harder to see and on screensaver color sceme all messed up please help

    Hi tmd65

    Could you post a picture of what you see.

    1.Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
    2.To capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn.
    3.Open ms paint
    4.Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
    5.go to file - save as - save as .jpg
    6.add the file as an attachment to the post

    can't do what you asked sorrynot all colors are bad just when words or pics have a colored background.when i look in display and go to settingsin the colors section my choices are 16 colors and 256 colors and high color(16 bit)

    high color(16 bit) is all you need - anything higher unnecessarily uses more resources

    When you say you can't post a screenshot - do you mean you don't want to , or don't know how to.

    If you don't know how to - tell me which part of my instructions above you do not understand.
