    Hello all,

Newbie question. I've been wondering about submissions that require CMYK color profiles and TIFF format. Does that mean that I change my own jpeg or psd format and RGB color profile to what the submission calls for? Can I then replace that after sending with the original settings? Or better still could I make a duplicate copy and send that for submission?
    Thanks:confused:

yes you can do both - but you need to be careful where you make any colour changes and what colour profile you are using - RGB can be a brighter than CMYK on a screen
what editor are you using ?

yep - thats what I meant
so CS2 will allow you to do all sorts of things with profiles

    you can use
    EDIT from the menu
    and assign a profile
    convert a profile

just remember to save you original as you want it and play with a copy
