Colors

    My colors are all messed up, I tried to go to settings but each time I restart to chnage to 16 bit or 256 from 16 colors it doesn't work and it stays at 16 colors

    What is your operating system and what is the make and model of your Graphics Adapter ?.

    Usually when someone gets stuck in 16 colors, it is because their video card adapter drivers are corrupted. You may need to reinstall your video drivers, or update them. Try right clicking on "My computer" properties> device manager> look for any yellow splats on display adapter.

    If you have your video driver on disk, click on the display adapter> properties> driver tab> update> have disk> complete the update following the instructions

    If you don't have a driver on disk and know the maker of the video card> go to the manufacturer's site and down load an updated driver and install it as above.

    Also check your refresh rate and make sure it is not on "unknown". It should be on "adapter default" or "optimal" or even a numerical value.
