    G,day

Am running a recent install of 7x64 home premium

At the welcome screen I see my my screen calibration (lower gamma) kicks in, but as soon as the desktop appears the screen reverts back to blown out look I have previously gotten rid off.

This seems to happen with both 64 & 32 win7.

I have tried bypassing the windows colour calibration by using calibrize for the job with the same result.

I suspect some auto function (service?) of win7 is to blame but I cannot pin down the culprit.

    Help would be appreciated.

    Cya.
