I have an interesting problem with Comcast Cable in Houston.

Since October 12th - 10 On Demand Porn movies have been ordered on my account.
Nobody in our house ordered these movies (2 small kids nor myself or my husband).

On 10/03 we swapped 2 old motorola Digital boxes for 2 new HD boxes. On 10/17 swapped two more old motorola Digital boxes for 1 HD box and 1 HD DVR.

On 10/23 - I found out about the porn movies by chance because I looked online at my account's recent activity. I called comcast immediately and complained. I have spoken to them everyday since, because a new movies keep popping up.

On 10/25 we set the On Demand Credit Limit to ZERO. A movie was just posted to my account as being purchased on the morning of 10/26.

I know this is not a computer question, but you guys are really smart and have helped me with previous computer problems. Has anyone heard of anything like this happening before?

    Thank You,
    Leslie Duncan

    First Name:
One possible reason is that the boxes you returned are not properly out of your account.

I don't know if Comcast do this, but I would assume they can find out the serial number of the box that is purchasing the movies.

If it is one of the ones you gave back, then make sure that you have the slip they gave you to prove that you have gave them back to them so that way they can deal with it. Also I would assume that they would have a credit card on file if someone purchased a movie.

If it's on one of your HD boxes, then I would check the boxes for the saved movies.

I have already re verified all of the serial numbers of all of the boxes (receipts and all). I am not sure how to check the boxes for saved movies, but will go have a look. That still does not explain the movie that was purchased after the account credit limit was set to Zero.

Why not setup the password on the cable box?
    There are 3 places.
    The Parental Control.
And Setup, PIN's Setup and Locks Setup.
