    Time Warner to purchase Comcast.

This notification came in the form of a letter on June 25, 2006, from Time Warner Cable. Now this initial letter is about Cable TV, but I had an extensie conversation with Mnagement and they told me that the High Speed portion of the purchase/switch over has not occurred and does not know when or how it will be implemented.

However, I have had one of my main emails with my ISP, Comcast, for years and years and even transferred it from Arizona to California when I moved. (no small task, I assure you).

Does anyone know what the ramifications of this are? Are we going to have to change all of our User names which require email addresses (as opposed to a simple user name)?

    Or what?

I hate the FCC and the FTC, and whomever else might be involved with an approval of this type of merger or purchase.

Perhaps it will teach me to go Gmail or to utilize one of my Domains.
