really.. back a few years back there no pop up for regular sites but only for Porn sites.. man!! talk about pop up galore!!

I personally just ignore it...

basically because unconsiously it feels like a scam.

A scam that brings you to their site and sacks you.

Of course a lot of those ads are not scams but well... if you're use to porn sites, then those pop up are Evil!!! Not that I go on porn sites!!

Who really click on those pop ups anyway??? I feel like those are for suckers. scams.

Depending on where these adds are of course will depend on if I visit them or not. In the case of banner ads at TSG I frequent them many times since they are used to offset the cost of running this site. I have on occasion found some good deals by using the links and of course some not so good. Since porn sites are not on my radar screen I do not know what type of maliciousness they create other than snatching ones homepage and making registry
and startup group changes.
Dave

Edit: Meant Banner ads, TSG does not have pop-ups!

First of all, I never click on a pop up ad because I use Pop Up Killer to throw them away. I do, however, sometimes click on a banner ad if it meets my fancy. They are not so intrusive as the pop ups.

personally I don't visit those yucky porn sites but those pop ups are bad!! Some just cover the whole PAGE and don't let you exit it!! For a amatuer they are stuck with it, if they don't know how to Alt F4 it!!

It wasn't me!! It was the Beer that visit the porn sites!!

Anyway why do people make it such a big deal?? I mean a naked pic of a women or men or both? is wonderful.

I mean Yes you love your girlfriend/wife but come on now!! After a couple of years it can get tendious and some nice new "Window Shopping" can be quite nice!!!

So not all perverts go to nudity sites.. agree or not?

I used an adkill a little bit ago, but it changed my proxy and caused problems with my cookies, so I got rid of that one. I haven't taken the time to download a different one, so until then I use the "adkill" button on my mouse. Works great! :D I have a 5 button mouse, two thumb buttons and the big one is the "back" button and the smaller one is the "close" button so when a pop up comes alone I don't have to move anything, just press my thumb. :D And about those sites... haven't gone for years. They waste too much time that I never had in the first place, and besides... I'm younger than you guys. For me, the real thing is much better. :D :D :D :D :D (hehe you old hags  :D ) As Lisa has mentioned... "now I know where you guys get your carpal tunel... "
