Do I need this command in my startup:
    rem TShoot: C:\PROGRA~1\GRISOFT\AVGFRE~1\BOOTUP.EXE

I still have the AVG free anti virus program in my computer, but I only run it when I do a weekly scan. I do not have the program in the start menu.

I can remove the comand by running sysedit, but was concerned that might become a problem if I do. Thanks Dennis

That is the Pre-boot scan I believe. It checks your Master Boot Record and other things for viruses before your computer boots into Windows. I would leave it there.
