Hi, one day I started windows, and noticed that the common task pane was missing.
I clicked on folder options to check if it was disabled, but to my amazement it is enabled!
I do not understand what is happening.
Does someone know what may be the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Mmm...the box was already checked.

I really have no idea what's going on.
    Any thoughts?

aemonten, Is it showing the folders view tree in the left pane? If it is just click on the "Folders" Toolbar button in the Toolbar below the Menu bar at the top of the screen.

aemonten, Go into Folder Options>View tab and checkmark"Display simple folder view in Explorer's folder list", click Apply/OK. If this gives you the folder tree on the left side than just click on the "Folders" Toolbar button in the Toolbar below the Menu bar at the top of the screen and see if the Common Task pane appears.

aemonten, You are clicking the "Carpetas" (Folders in English) Toolbar button?

If I do that, I can see the folder tree, but I can't get the task pane.

aemonten, Open My Computer and go up to the "Ver" (View in English) on the Menu bar and click it and make sure that nothing is checkmarked in the Explorer Bar sub menu. I'm running out of ideas but a search found this possible solution.

The only thing that was checkmarked was the "folders"option, but just because I enabled it a few minutes ago when you suggested I clicked on it.
    This seems really weird.
