I have a burned copy of xp professional and just like everyone else, I have this syntax/manifest error some where on line 4 in GDIPLUS.MAN. I open the file (GDIPLUS.MAN) and everything looks fine.
I tried replacing the file with a new file by deleting the information in a file I copied to the hard-drive and copying and pasting the new information which was the same as what I deleted. I checked the info by having someone with xp to e-mail me the information found in there file. I checked my info with theirs and the info looked perfect. so I copied the new file to the disc and deleted the old file. still I get the same error. So I am quessing it is some where else.
here are some of the other error messages I get also:
Could not install:
Microsoft Messenger v4.6
wdmaud.drv
dxdiag.exe
msapsspc.dll
netoc.dll
(w95upgnt.dll--->windows may not finish install if canceled)
I'm going to try and find the SXS.DLL and see if that is the problem.
