    Can you get to another PC to get the jdbgmgr.exe from. It is a very small file so you could use a floppy.

    Oh yea! Great Idea!
    Of course it would have to come from windows98 right?

    I really don't think the missing jdbgmgr.exe is the souce of any continuing problems, but have you tried restoring it using the System File Checker?

    Use c:\windows\options\cabs in the "restore from" location, and c:\windows\system in for the location to "restore to"

    ======================================
    Using SFC to extract files

    1. Go to Start>Run and enter SFC and click OK
    2. Check "Extract one File"
    3. Enter the file name and click on "Start"
    4. In the "Restore from" field enter:: D:\WIN98 [if 'D' is not the letter of your CD-Rom drive, modify appropriately]
    5. Click OK

    {if you do not have a Windows system CD, try subsitituting c:\windows\options\cabs in the"restore from field"}

    Rollin Rog,
    It worked My Bear Is Back!!:D
    Thank You!
    I do have one more problem, i rebooted it to see if my scanner would work, but it has a big X through it and says that it is not detected.
    I thought the bear file would fix the driver.
    Any suggestions on how to get that back!
    Thanks
    K.Lee
