The computer that i am running is deadly slow. i got attacked by pop ups a few weeks ago and ever since then, my computer has been running very very slowly to the extent where it is freezing every few moments. I downloaded spybot (adaware didn't download) and ran that and removed everything it showed. However the computer is still running horribly slow. the little computer icon shows 27 million bytes sent and only 9 million recieved and even when the internet is on but not active the computer is still sending lots of information. I dont run kazaa or anthing like that.

I also ran CWshreder and got ris of everything it showed as well as spywareblaster

The internet is very slow to run and a simple task like typing this out has made it freeze four times.
It runs windows 98, 32mb ram and my hijack this log is shown below. Before you think that the problem is ram the computer was running fine at a normal speed without freezing before the spyware arrived. If somebody knows how i can return my computer to normal speed i would be very grateful.

There is nothing bad in your log.....but you should run your A/V at all times.
And you need a firewall..that would tell you what program was accessing the net.

    ;)
