compaq endless beeping

    My compaq nc6000 continuiously beeps when it enters into windows, the computer works well for a certain amount of time and then it gets possessed and starts acting crazy with the mouse going out of control and keyboard miss typing. Someone please help me i need this computer. tell me whats wrong with it.

    Hi and welcome - is this a notebook Pc?
    Likely to be a memory [Ram] problem - remove the memory stick and clean the contacts and then carefully put the stick back.
    This should be the manual for your Pc.

    Also run a memory test.

    Download and burn the ISO to CD
    Boot from that CD and run the memory test overnight or at least for a few hours.
