One of the computers here at my job has been having issues. It wont let the VP use microsoft office. I managed to get it to download the 2010 version but then it says it needs a compatibility pack. Well I go to download that and it gets all the way through the download and at the end it tells me it failed to install. Can someone tell me what's going on with it??

    Welcome to TSG TMRick,
When posting a question provide as much information as possible, for sure the Operatating System and other actions you have taken to resolve.

That said, Does office work without the compatibility pack? I.E. you can create documents and open/read them after saving. Make sure you uninstall previous versions of Office and I would download the compatability pack again. Make sure you getting the one that matches your system. That system need to be up to date as well (updates and patches).
