Components

Hi Everyone,

A easy question I think. Is there someplace on the computer that I can go that describes what components are inside? I mean like the sound card, motherboard, and such. I know what chip I have but know little or nothing else. Being nosy I would like to look my system up and see just how good or bad it is. Happy New Year to all of you.
