    Hello,

I'm trying to compress a previously compressed PDF file. It got down to 4MB but now I want it at 1MB. Any idea how to do that?

    Thanks!

    Hi, and welcome to TSG.

If the PDF file is all or mostly jpeg pictures and you are using a recent version of Adobe Acrobat Pro, there may be an Advanced menu item called PDF Optimizer. It will allow you to reduce the JPEG picture quality and downsample the resolution. A 4:1 file size reduction would take some major downsampling and loss of picture detail.
