Hi everyone.

After installing my digital camera yesterday, I got the blue screen when I tried inserting my USB modem device.
The BSOD comes up saying:

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

For some reason, It can still take the camera when I insert it and any USB input device(i.e. Mouse, Keyboard) just no flash drives.

My Computer:
Dell Latitude D600
Windows XP SP3
512MB RAM

Camera Brand : Sumishi

What I have already tried:
Uninstalling the Camera drivers using the Add or Remove programs utility on my computer and then re-installing all my USB ports using Device Manager
Adjusting my paging file to "System Managed Size"

What I think I must try, but haven't yet:
Running CHDSK.

Any help would be much obliged.

Have a look in Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager and scroll down the list to USB hubs. Check in each to see what's plugged in where and how much power is being used. 500mA is the maximum and you may have overstepped the mark so spreading devices around the hubs may be necessary. You could also buy a powered hub which takes electricity from your mains and not the computer.

Have you restarted the computer since this happened?
