Computer complete shutdown and restarts

    I have a problem with my daughters computer, it shutdowns and restarts for no reason no indication anything is wrong, It has a gigabyte GA-8PIE1000PRO2, INTEL P4 3.0 1012 DDR 333 RAM, GIGABYTE RADEON 9200 GRAPHICS CARD, All updates have been downloaded. I hope you can assist me with this problem. Many Thanks Terry Horton.

    I'll assume its xp your talking about. Go to start/ control panel/ system / advanced/ startup & recovery/ then uncheck the option to reboot.

    Next go and right click on "my computer" select manage / event viewer/ system.
    There see what report it gives for the last shutdown.
