Hello All. I am having a problem with my computer. I just bought a router and a USB mouse today and after I installed the driver and software for the PCI Network adapter I noticed my computer freezes every now and then and I have to restart it. Can someone tell me what's wrong and how to fix the problem? Thanks in advance.

Without reading the HJT log I would suggest uninstalling the PCI adapter in device manager and see if that fixes the problem

I've tried that but when I try to uninstall it the Blue Screen comes up and I have to turn off my computer.

And also, if I was to successfully uninstall it, how would I be able to use the internet without the driver for the Network PCI adapter?

You are infected with multiple nasties. Wait for a gold shield (analyst) to tell you how to remove them. (May want to post on the malware board for faster service).

Regarding your freeze. When it happens does everything freeze or just the display?
IE can you use the keyboard and do a ctrl+alt+del twice or windowskey U key ,R key Enter to restart or must you press the reset button . This will determine whether it is the CPU which has frozen or the display adapater.

In any case, since it started after you added new hardware my first guess would be that your power supply is insufficient for the demands.Second would be a defective card which has a short , or that you knocked something while installing the card and it comes loose when hot. The third would be that you have a bad or generic driver and need to update drivers to the latest ones.

I'll go post in the malware forum for that as you suggested.

when it freezes everything freezes. I try to push CTRL+ALT+DEL But nothing happens. I push the caps lock and that works but after 3 or 4 times of pushing it, the keyboard freezes up too and I have to Push the reset button. I think it's the CPU.

I've tried to update to the latest drivers but that didn't solve the problem. And now when I do anything that has something to do with the card, i.e update the driver, disable it, uninstall the drivers, the Blue Screen Comes up and I have to push the restart button.
