computer dead

    computer won't turn on seems as if no power getting to it
    Is it the power supply most likely and how hard is it to replace.

    Power supplies are fairly easy to replace, but that is certainly not the only suspect in a situation like that.

    Do you have another computer with a known good power supply you could use to test?

    If you do, post back the specs on both machines before you do--some power supplies aren't compatible with other boards.

    Sometime resetting the CMOS jumper can kick start the mobo.

    It can be a temporary failure of the electronic start, especially on a mobo that does not have a separate 12VDC 4-point connection.
