Computer about 6 years old working fine until now. I started with noticing the clock only working when the PC was turned on so I replaced the battery on the motherboard with a new to fix the problem. But now when I start the PC it first makes a long beep and then nothing else happens......no picture....

I tried with another video card but it made no difference......

    INtel 440BX AGPset, PII 350MHz
    Award BIOS

    Please anyone, help!

You may try reseating the RAM and VGA card. Make sure they are securely seated. Also, make sure there are no PCI cards halfway in/out.
To troubleshoot, remove excess PCI/ISA cards like modems, NIC cards, sound cards. Once you get the computer to boot normally, reinstall the cards. Hope this helps.
