    Hi !
Since a couple of weeks my 6 months old notebook (HP Pavilion DV1451EA) frequently freezes. I'm running an up-to-date Windows XP. These lockups only happen during the first quarter after boot-up. Once the computer is up for about 15 minutes, the problem doesnot occur anymore. A freeze lasts between a couple of seconds and a couple of minutes.
Does anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this problem ?

    Thx,
    b4

    Some more information :
    - it doesn't make a difference if I'm connected to my Internet modem or not.
    - I've run antivirus (McAfee) and anti-spyware (spybot and ad-aware) ; none of them detected a problem
