Hi All.
After persevering I finally bit the bullet and took my PC back to the store and the Guy who actually built it.
They got the same freezing rubbish so opened her up and did what gurus do.
Initially, they found initially the cabinet fill of fluff and dust and whilst the fans were working ok , there was no airflow through the cabinet.
Secondly, having a quick check on the main components found the CPU Core temperatures off the scale.
You could have fried an egg on some of the other stuff too!
So really, the egg was on my face not yours because I could hear the fans but didn't bother to check airflow.
One consolation is that they see this all the time and although my unit was pretty clogged sad it wasn't as sad as some they have seen.
Poor old system was struggling to cope. Luckily, whilst the overheating may have shortened their life span, all of the chips are behaving as they should and well within specs.
So sincere thanks to all you guys out there that saw fit to give up their time to lend me a helping hand.
Your patience and kind service is appreciated.
Regards,
