My comp. just suddenly freezes. No response to anything, the mouse pointer won"t move. Must shut down completely and restart, sometimes 3-5 times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to TSG!
When you say shutdown completely are you able to shutdown conventionally by selecting start shutdown or do you have to hit reset or unplug?
Tell us a little bit about your system and what OS are you running.

After upgrade all this locking started. Have you spoke with the
place that did the upgrade for you about this problem? You could be experiencing, overheating, power supply problems, video problems and others. If this is a new upgrade they should work with you to correct this!
