My computer is hanging a lot. I load my gateway gp450, and it hangs at the beginning...usually it does this and i have to restart by holding the off button for 5 seconds, then i go to normal mode and it takes me to settings with 16 colors, and i have to change it to 16-bit, and when i do that it automatically restarts..but then sometimes it hangs on me again and i have to restart the same process...but other times it goes through and im finished loading to my original settings of 32-bit color... Does anyone have a solution to this..im getting tired of my computer doing this. thanks

Sure sounds like you are have display adapter/video card problems. Best thing I could suggest is try reinstalling the video
drivers which apply to your computer. Gateway has so many different possibilities it is best you go to their site and answer the
selection process yourself.
http://www.gateway.com/support/drivers/dlcenter.asp
If installation of the new video drivers does not solve your problem then you will have to find out which program or driver is
causing your problem.
Do not know which OS you are running so I will give you both articles.
