Hello all ~ I hope someone can help me. I downloaded Outlook Express 6 off the internet. I can still surf the web with no problem...but as soon as I check my email the computer hangs up and I lose my connection. It allows incoming mail to get through and then hangs up immediately. It seems like there must be an easy solution to this but I don't know what it is! I'm not very computer literate!!! Thanks for your help.

go to tools in OE & then options... then to connection & click check before switching dialup connection. then click change & make sure your connection choice is dial a network connection when connection is not present

And while you're at Internet Options/Connections, don't forget to remove the check mark at 'Hang up after sending and receiving'.

    Good luck,

Thanks so much to both of you...I'm all fixed up. This is a great Forum. I'm sure I'll be back...don't know much about computers but I'm learning! Thanks again.
