Your "Attach.txt" log shows that you have both Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware installed. (y)

When was the last time that you updated their definition files and then ran a quick scan with them and then selected and removed EVERYTHING they found?

    --------------------------------------------------------

Go to Start - Run - MSCONFIG - OK - "Startup" tab.

Write down only the names in the "Startup Item" column that have a checkmark next to them.

If the "Startup Item" column isn't wide enough to see the entire name of any of them, widen the column.

Submit those names here in a vertical list.

Make sure to spell them exactly as you see them there.

Go back to Start - Run - MSCONFIG - OK - "Startup" tab.

Remove the checkmark in these startup entries:

    hkcmd

    mbamgui

    realsched

    ACDaemon

    SUPERAntiSpyware

    uTorrent

    ctfmon

    RCA Detective

    Seagate NAOLTNY

After you're done, click Apply - OK/Close - Exit Without Restart.

    Go to Start - Run - SERVICES.MSC - OK.

Expand the services window so you can see the list clearly.

Double-click on these service entries, one at a time, to open their properties window:

    ArcSoft Connect Daemon

    Google Update Service

    Google Update Service

    Google Updater Service

    Java Quick Starter

    Mozilla Maintenance Service

    Pml Driver HPZ12

    Yahoo! Updater

If the "Startup Type" is set on Automatic, change it to Manual, then click Apply - OK.

After you're done, close the services window and then restart the computer.

When the small "System Configuration Utility" window appears during restart, ignore its message.

Put a checkmark in that window BEFORE you click OK to close it.

Start HiJackThis, then click "Do a system scan and save a log file".

Save the new log that appears, then copy-and-paste it here.

Note: If you don't actually use the LightScribe software to burn labels on discs, you can uncheck its entry in the startup list and change its startup type to Manual in the services list.

You're using MAGIX PC Check & Tuning 2012 and possibly other "cleaner/fixer" type utilities.

These utilities do little-to-nothing to improve speed and fix problems.

What they can do is damage the Windows operating system and break programs and generate error/warning messages and wreak havoc with a computer.

This may be part of the cause of your issues.

I can uninstall Magic PC, I never use it but I don't think that is the problem. It has been in the computer for 6 months or so and my problems started recently.

If you're not using any of that MAGIX-related stuff, get rid of it.

Also get rid of CCleaner, unless you really know how to use it safely.

Some people have issues with using MagicJack, so you may or may not be having an issue with it.

I'm not familiar with Memeo Auto Backup, so I don't know if it has any issues.

I uninstalled Magic PC and have been using CCLeaner for a couple years with no problems. No issues with Magicjack other than the fact that I have to use Task Manager to shut it down in order to put my computer in Stand-by mode and Memeo is the software installed for my FreeAgent GoFlex back-up external Hard drive.

It seems to be a little better, but I still think there is a problem...somewhere.

Click Start - Run, then type in

    %temp%

    and then click OK.

Click Start - Run, then type in

    c:\windows\temp

    and then click OK.

Once those 2 temp folders appear and you can view their contents, select and delete EVERYTHING that's inside them.

If a few files resist being deleted, that's normal behavior. Leave them alone and delete EVERYTHING else.

If a massive number of files are being deleted, the computer may appear to "hang". Be patient and wait for the deletion process to finish.

After it's done, restart the computer.

Did a quick scan with SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes and found a couple things and deleted all the junk in the temp files and it seems to be running a lot faster. Almost back to normal.

If you haven't defragged the hard drive in a long time, run Disk Defragmenter.

Restart the computer after it's finished.
