Can you post a full dscription of your PC, with some history? (has it always done it, etc)

    Go to:
    http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt

Download HiJackThis and run it. It creattes a log, if you copy it and paste into your reply, it will allow others to advise if its possibly a software (virus/trojan/adware) issue.

Try getting rid of the FreeRAM XP Pro, these applications are not really needed in XP in my opinion, and have been linked to instability.

Also note Winzip loading, its OK but XP already has full zip/unzip functionality built into Windows Explorer.

I don't see anything else at first glance...

I got rid of FreeRAM XP and winzip but it still does it. Before I use to have Windows XP professinal and everything ran just fine. But I bought Home Edition and a new hard drive for my computer. I got home edition because I borrowed Professional from someone else and I couldn't get all the updates for it. All this started when I installed Windows Home Edition and when I started the windows update for the SP1A.
