    Hello paulpgh

    Try this first.

Start the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel applet (Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs).
Select "Microsoft Internet Explorer x and Internet Tools."
    Click Change/Remove.
Select Repair Internet Explorer, and click OK.

If that doesn't work. Update your HijackThis before you post a new log.

I had a virus in my system restore so I had to disable it. Do you think its a virus or hardware malfunction? If not should I think about fdisk. Sometimes it get stuck rebooting constantly at the bios start up?

It boots up in the safe mode and every once in a while in normal mode but mostly shuts down when I'm using IE. I'm thinking 1 of 2 things power supply or video card, right now I have a built in video card on the motherboard. I ran an extra fan for overheating and changed out the power cord and even ran an extension cord from another supply in the house but still every so often I get a reboot????

if it is starting normally in safe mode then the cause is software
start in safemode and untick everything in the startup folder in msconfig, and then start normally
if everything works normally retick the boxes one at a time rebooting each time until you find the offending item
