Computer messed up from avast

dk if this is the right thread or not butt....Well avast has completely screwed up my laptop..to the point where even Microsoft has no idea what to do and they are getting me in contact with a lead engineer, I dowloaded their driver updater and now all of my asus software is messed up, to the point where the screenpad dosent even work anymore...sound dosent works keeps saying I don't have an output device...Microsoft supoort dude tried to reinstall realtk driver but that didnt work all.. (sorry I am not a tech guy so I don't know how to fully explain things), I've also tried to do factory reset..and fresh install.of windows

With that many problems, I would recommend doing a clean install of Windows 10, although I don't think Avast would affect system drivers...

I did, ive done multiple its a brand new laptop downloaded avst to be safe , and tried their 60 days free premium package trial, said my laptop had 39.ourdated drivers once it finished updating everything became super wonky, sound drivers are completely gone , screen pad/track pad dosent even work..tried multiple resets and fresh installs of window

Then I would suggest doing the clean install again and don't install Avast. Windows 10 has a good virus protection.

By the way, your computer is under warranty, so I assume you called ASUS for this issue and not Microsoft?
