So I just got home from work and jumped onto my PC to play some majoras mask. I've accidentally pressed in the reset button on the front while I was examining it to see what it was. My PC has restarted and loaded onto the login page. I've climbed under my desk to connect a USB adapted into the back of my PC. Upon coming back up I notice my PC is frozen, as any one would do, I tried to restart it, but at this point for whatever reason, my computer will not display any image on my monitor. It appears as though my monitor isn't picking up any image to display. PLEASE HELP!
I'll ask the obvious question: Are you sure you didn't knock something loose while you were plugging in the USB device? Power completely off and look closely. Remove and reseat any/all cables on the PC.
Is the monitor's power LED on? Could you have leaned on a cable leading to the monitor? Remove and reseat those plugs as well. I've encountered power cords that appeared to be inserted, but removing and replugging fixed them.
Try uninstalling (or reinstalling) your graphics drivers, and uninstall any new programs you have that may be causing a problem. Make sure your resolution and refresh rate are set properly (if you had them set too high, your monitor might not be able to display a screen).
I wouldn't advise that since the poster has no display to see what is going on!
