Hi I have windows xp home edition, I have just reformatted. When I switch on my computer it takes me to welcome screen and reboots again. It might do this a couple of times, before it loads windows. I have run my virus program no viruses. Any suggestions

First you should make sure you don´t have windows rebooting after a system failure.
To do that, go to
Start - Control panel - Performance and Maintenance, then under the pick a control panel icon section, click system. Go to the advanced tab, and then click settings under Startup and Recovery. Then click to select one of the following check boxes under system failure.
'Write an event to the system log'
'Send an administrative alert'
'Automatically restart'

By default the automatically restart function is selected.

Anyhow, now you should get an error message, once you get it google it even if its just a bunch of numbers.
If you DONT get an error message and the computer keeps rebooting It might be a hardware problem.

Could also be bad RAM, or a bad video driver. Try rolling back to your previous video card driver, or downloading the latest one.

I would also try a check disk to search for faulty files.
Go to My Computer, right-click the C drive, select Properties, and then go to the Tools tab, and select Check Now. Choose 'automatically fix file system errors' and Start. Repeat this process for all hard drives on your computer.
