    please help!
Norton found a virus on my computer and couldent delete it, so it gave me this link
    :http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2002-101518-4323-99

the instructions to get rid of it told me to reboot in safe mode, so thats what i did.
i set up msconfig to restart on safe mode, but when the computer comes on, it gets as far as saying, 'windows is starting' but, before the login page comes up, the computer restarts.

when it restarts, the same thing happens.

please help, i need my computer!
    any coments are welcome.
    Thank you for reading.

Give this a try but only if you have the Windows install software for this computer. I would also suggest when it is running to backup all of your important data.

Try tapping the F8 key during boot-up, choose Safe Mode. If the pc still doesn't boot, use the same F8 method, but this time select 'last known good configuration'.
