I have had a problem with my computer for over a week now. It is running slow. If I open more than one page at a time, it almost stops eg. if I open word as the second page, then there is a delay in what I have typed and what appears on the page. I rely on my computer and use it ever day so it is very upsetting when it doesn't work. When I am on the internet, pages turn fine (so long as I have one page open at a time) I have checked my ISP speed (which is broadband and is the correct speed ie fastest). I have also defragmented my 2 drives; taken everything off my start up that I didn't need; run spywareblaster etc. Can anyone suggest anything else please??? I am now worried that it may be my CPU (is there any way if you can test if it is working ok?). The specs of my computer are Athlon process2100; 512k ram; 2 hard drives (total 120MB).

Well spotted!...........GB not MB!!................40GB on one drive and 80GB on the other. Both are about half empty.
