    Hello there.

My computer starts going really slow after about 11:00-12:00 PM-AM (Programs take forever to start/open and games take about 20 minutes to load.) until i wake up (About 10-11:45 AM :p ). Anywho I was wondering if there is any thing I can do to help my computer run fast for 24/7, give or take. Please help :)

P.S: Just to let you know I'm Not that good with technical stuff, so if there's any that would be difficult for a noob you'll have to explain slowly. :p

    Thanks!

Assuming you are talking about your Internet, what type of Internet connection do you have?

Might be a problem on your ISP's side.

If it's not an Internet only issue,

Please click here to download and install the HijackThis installer.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

    Do not fix anything

Go here and click the green icon to download HijackThis 2.0.2.

Close all open browser windows, then install it in its default location: C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.

Run a scan with it - which will take 30 seconds or less.

Save the resulting log in Notepad.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the entire log here.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

If you're going to leave your computer on 24/7, restart it at least once a day.

My guess is that you have a scheduled task starting every night at that particular time.

Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Scheduled Tasks. See if something is scheduled to start around 11h00 PM.

Your computer has too much stuff installed, and most of it is loading during startup and running in the background. Other than AVG8, most of it can be disabled from automatically loading and running.

You're also using the BitComet file-sharing app, so your computer probably has malware in it.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Go here and click the green icon to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.40. After you install it, make sure to run its update function to get it up-to-date with the latest definition files. After it's up-to-date, run a "quick scan" with it. When the scan is finished, select and allow it to fix everything it finds. Restart your computer if prompted to. Post a copy of the scan log results here.
