Computer screen cord

    Hello,

    I just got an older computer from my sister and it is telling me that it has an add-on video card installed. I need to find the cord that goes in the plug for the screen and I have no idea what it is called or how to find it on the internet. Can anyone tell me what kind of plug with fit?

    OMG that is it! Thank you so much! But, now I do not have two screens. Is there a cord for just one screen?

    You're welcome. For a single monitor connection just get a splitter with at least one socket to match your particular monitor (VGA or DVI). Connect your monitor cable to that socket and leave the splitter socket unconnected. The video controller card drivers and software should allow you to use a single display with the card.

    EDIT: If you don't want the clutter of the unused socket of the splitter and you have a monitor with a VGA connection, you can use an adapter such as this one:
