So as part of my never ending hobby I'm trying to come up with a set of programs for overall computer security and maintenance. Over the past year I've gone through many programs trying to get certain ones to run together with semi-minimal impact on my computer's performance.

This may sound like an odd question/statement since there is really no definitive answer and what is relevant now might not be in another 3 years...but I'm curious as to what other people's opinions are on this particular setup.

    For the security part:
-Microsoft Security Essentials (Default settings [anti virus and spyware protection] with exclusions to Malawarebytes)
-Malawarebytes Anti-Malaware Pro (This includes real time protection with exclusions to MSE)
-Comodo Firewall (Firewall and Defense + with Sandbox active in safe mode. No antivirus.) The sandbox just isolates anything unusual not on the white-list I try to install until I tell Comodo what to do. Pretty useful.
-Secunia PSI (For automated updating of everything possible). Actively running at all times.

    For the maintenance part:
-Advanced System Care (with anything regarding the registry disabled) I don't believe in touching the registry.
So basically it does malaware removal, system optimization, privacy sweep, vulnerabilities fix, clean junk files, and disk defrag every day at 5pm. Never had a single issue with it and it boosts some of my programs and processes actively although it does seem to take up a fair amount of memory :)

    Task Manager Memory Usage
    MSE ~ 4,152 K
MBAM ~ 216 K (maybe I have the wrong process here)
    Comodo ~ 4,212 K
    Secunia PSI ~ 1,656 K
    ASC ~ 19,468 K

So, in short, I'm trying to gauge how effective (in theory or practice) these programs would be together in a more large environment and if this setup actually works as well as I think it does . As I am not able to test these out on another computer I'm curious as to if this would work in general or only on certain setups. So for me this setup works rather flawlessly. I've even tried feeding malaware samples and such to test the setup and they have all worked in conjunction with each other to stop pretty much everything I've thrown at them in some way or another. Where one failed the other caught.

Sorry for the long walls of text but I'm always trying to learn new things about the programs and such I use on a daily basis and refining how efficiently they work. If you have any other program suggestions please do mention them...I'm always interested in testing new things as well :D
