Hi, i’m looking to buy a computer before I head off to college in a month. I know I want a Macbook but i’m lost on what to get. I’m a designer and photographer and know I will be running Creative Cloud a lot along with any and all college work i’ll be doing. During high school I had a Macbook Air (the one with the Usb and SD card ports). I loved it but am unsure now or if buying this older model to get the sd card and usb ports would be worth it compared to buying the new macbook air along with an adapter to get the Usb and sd card ports. I’ve been comparing the two models along with if i should by new or refurbished from a place in my town. Would it be worth saving around 400-600 dollars to get a refurbished or should I just buy new? Any advice would be helpful!

Theres not really a lot of choice on macbooks , if you are doing a lot of photography and graphic work, then i would want a machine with a lot of memory and CPU power - Photography can be quite memory hungary

my Macbook, I have an adapter which works well for connecting USB , HDMI LAN etc
