Have a problem with our computer.. After about 10 minutes of being online the entire system just shuts down..The monitor also goes off. The only way to get it back on is to turn it off at the power and reboot it.. Ive done a system restore thinking it might have been something like that but it still does it.. Any help would be appreciated.. Now Ill send this before it shuts down again and check back later! thanks

When you say the monitor turns off, does actually power off, or go into standby?

the monitor goes onto standby but the computer itself turns off.. Have to switch power on and off to get it going again.

ok, one thing I have just noticed is the fan in the power box is not working, could it be possible that it is over heating and cutting out ??

Yes, there is a good chance that overheating is your problem if a case fan isn't working. Your case could need a good cleanout or it could also be a faulty power supply or too small a supply for all the hardware/programmes you have running.
