My computer went completely flat a few days ago, it has been so slow since and my battery is stuck on 0% available plugged in. It also goes flat instantly when unplugging the power source. Does anyone know what I can do?
it's a possibility, but if you haven't done a clean wipe in some time, it could be just that it needs that. I would say work on the battery issue first.
I tried to restore my computer from a restore point a day or so ago, and when starting it up I now have no sound as the audio service isn't running. How do I fix this please?
Go into Services by typing services.msc in the Search bar and choose Services.
Located and double click on Windows Audio
Make sure the Startup Type is Automatic, and Service Status is showing Running. Judging by what you said, Service Status probably says Stopped. Click on Start to start it.
Aye thanks for ur reply, but a quick update fixed the audio issue. And my computer is now fast again and says 99% charging?? Turned it on later after turning off power and went on, it's at 0, but the charging bar is moving and my computer is still fast lol. I don't understand haha
OK! Maybe there was a glitch? Sometimes Updates can slow the computer down if they are trying to install in the background. To confirm, now that your power is showing high, does the computer go flat if you take out the AC?
Nop, it doesn't go flat instantly. It feels the same as it was before the issues. I think I had to leave it plugged in for a bit before turning it on, although I tried that earlier and it didn't work. So maybe the update did something? I think my battery is still stuffed tho, but not to the extent it was at
No need to block the serial... that was for the battery and not important.
Your design (full charge) capacity is 45,000 mWh; the full charge is at 6,800 mWh. That means your battery is charging up to 15% of the original capacity so it would probably last about 30 minutes or less without AC charge. If you intend to use this as a portable machine, you will need to change the battery.
Yeaa, Ik. I thought it might be non important, but better safe than sorry aye.
Hahah yep, it only lasts about that long lol. I got a portable charger/power bank, so it's all good. But yea if so I will need a new battery. Unfortunately people I have spoken to say it's likely that they will smash the screen and that's an extra 300 dollars aud to fix, on top of the 75 for the battery and 150 for them to put it in. It's working vibily atm tho
At least you have the information for both the battery health and the replacement. If you start to see the same issue as before then consider replacing the battery.
On the 19th it was 11,830 and 4 hours later it was 7,370. Then went down to 440 as soon as I disconnected my power bank when I had to leave to go to class
OK. I am suspecting the issue is mainly caused by the battery at this point so I would suggest replacing it as soon as you can.
