I've had this computer for roughly 3 years now and really haven't had any problems with it other then the occasional accidental hit of the sleep mode button. Now usually when I hit the sleep button, the computer will be very difficult to get out of sleep and I will normally end up turning it off completely and then turnin it back on. This has worked fine for me up until the last time I restarted the computer. Now when I go to turn the computer on the light on the computer starts orange (normally blue when started) which normally shows me the computer is sleeping. The monitor also does the same thing. I can hear the fans running but have no other options besides completely turning the computer off via the power button.

Are you able to boot up the PC at all? Have you tried booting into Safe mode using the F8 key to get to the Advanced Boot Menu and then selecting Safe Mode?

I am not able to boot up the computer. Sadly there are no options or anything on the screen at all. The only way I know that the computer is on is from the LED light turning on, I can hear the fan turn on, and the disk trey opens.

Two things to try: Check if the Sleep button appears to be stuck.
Try another monitor on the graphics output.

Well I unpluged the power cord and waited about a minute before I plugged it back on but all that did was change the color on the computer from orange to blue. Still getting no response though from the monitor (saying no signal). Tried a different monitor but the same thing. The sleep button isn't stuck sadly.

Well, there isn't much left to try.

Unplug the power and remove the battery for a few minutes. This will reset it back to normal if it is indeed stuck in sleep mode. Put the battery and power back on and try to boot again. Also try to boot with the power on but the battery removed.

The other thing to try would mean dismantling it to remove and check the CMOS battery which will reset the Bios back to default settings.

If none of this works then it is likely the GPU has failed or there is some other related fault on the motherboard which is likely to require a new motherboard.
