There's only so much that I can do by word-of-mouth and not having my hands on that laptop, so I think we're almost done.

Let me see one more HiJackThis scan log.

That's the main thing that we wanted to accomplish. :) (y)

---------------------------------------------------------------

Let's leave the rest of the HiJackThis log as it is.

It's my guess that Norton 360 is causing those "Disabled" entries, so I'm going to leave them alone.

Unless you have any more questions or issues about that laptop that you want to address, I guess we're done.

I'm getting ready to go off-line until late afternoon or early evening, so I'll check back with you then.

Actually i was wondering about something i would like to ask you.
When i use a search engine, (Bing and Google) half of the time i click on something the page "Pleasewaitsearch.com" comes up. No matter what the link is that will pop up.
Do you know what could be wrong?

I don't use Bing.

http://www.google.com is my default start page and where I do all my searching from.

I type in what I'm searching for, then press the Enter key or click the "Google Search" button.

Well i do too, but when i click any link instead of sending me to the URL of the link, it sends me to a webpage called Pleasewaitsearch.com saying the domain is expired.
But i could search Google, and it will still send me to that page, and i know the domain is not expired for Google.
I just don't understand and i was hoping you would know whats doing this.

I previously noticed this topmost entry in your HiJackThis log, but I wasn't concerned about it:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://ww.google.com/

It should be http://www.google.com and not http://ww.google.com
