Yesterday I got a blue screen for no apparent reason.
About a month ago, I got the same screen, but when I rebooted everything appeared to be working normally.

This time, I shut it down after the bsod, and started it today. I booted in Safe Mode, just to make sure everything was working properly, but it froze, and brought me to Startup Repair. Startup Repair asked me if I wanted to try to restore to an earlier version, and I said yes, but now it's saying 'Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically.

I attached a picture of the blue screen and the startup repair.

I don't really know where to go from here...

I really don't want to lose my personal files! I just ordered a 200gb external hard drive off amazon to back my stuff up, and I would hate it if I lost all my stuff before I got the chance.

    Any ideas?
(I'm on my friend's computer right now, if you were wondering.)

If its a laptop just pull out the drive and use a usb ide/sata connector to salvage what you dont want to lose to your friends computer if they will let you. Then put the info on cds/dvds until you get the external hard drive. On cds they will be safe for a long while until needed again.
