I have a hp Pavilion f1503 desktop. It was working fine last night, but now I connot get it out of sleep mode. When I turn it on, it says "PC entering sleep mode 'REDGREENBLACK'" (that is written underneath it; each colored with the corrisponding numbers). Then the screen goes black. The only way to get out of it is to press the sleep mode button (the half moon) on my keyboard. Then it will come on for about 3 seconds and then go black again. I looked up the issue, but couldn't really find a solution to the problem. I tried force restart, making sure all connections were secured, unplugging eveything and plugging everything back, pressing f9 on startup for diagnostics, running it in safemode, etc. Everything ends the same- with the screen coming on for a few seconds and then going into sleep mode again. I noticed the last time it came on that the color was distorted. It looked orange-ish. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Is it my motherboard? Some people said dust in the modem. Some people said the graphics card needed replacing. I am not completely non tech savvy. I am pretty good with this stuff, but I am stumped

First of all, no one [other than you] has any idea what hardware we are attempting to diagnose. Post ALL of your exact system specs; ie exact mb, exact ram, exact cpu, exact pw supply, etc, etc. Do not post "8gig of ram" post the exact brand and model# Do that for all of your parts.

If this is a big box system ie dell, hp, whatever, then post the exact make and model# If you have a service tag# post that as well.
