    The Configuration Management Application Block is an extensible framework that provides a simple and efficient mechanism through which to read and write application configuration data. Standard support is provided for the secure storage of configuration data in Microsoft SQL Server, the Windows registry, and XML files. However, the extensible architecture of the Configuration Management application Block enables you to securely store any type of application configuration data in any data store with minimal development effort.

    System Requirements
    Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003

    To run the Configuration Management Application Block, you need the following:
    - Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, or Windows Server 2003
    - Version 1.1 of the Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Framework SDK
    - Visual Studio .NET 2003 (Recommended but not required)
