Configure tooltips in Explorer

    Windows XP, using explorer, if you look at a list of files, and hover over a filename, Eplorer will display a yellow tooltip with file type, date modified, size, etc. The information seems to be related to the file type : .EXE files show different information in the tooltip than .DLL files.

    How can this be configured ? How can I tell Windows which information to show for which type of file ?

    I'm using two different PC's, and one just stopped showing the "Date modified" in the tooltip. I'm looking for a way to restore that.

    You might get an idea by comparing the registries to one another. For the default infotip entry for all file types, look under:
