    hi there..
recently i've configured distribution switch 3com 5500 with access switch 3com 2250.. The diagram look like this ::

    Configuration 1

    Configuration 2

    Configuration 3

    Configuration 4

My aim is to make sure the switch connected each other and the users can grab ip and surf to the intranet/internet. Administrator also can ping, telnet and http to the 3com switch. Each access switch just have one vlan. I think no need to configure the tagging but if fail to do that, user unable to grab the ip.

There are no ACL or others configuration have been done to the switches. Just configure the vlan and port trunk/tag.

1- How to solve this problem?
2- Do i need to configure vlan tag if plan to use just 1 vlan per switch?
3- Why i cannot ping to the switch?
